"Excellent gluten-free waffle options! Very knowledgeable about celiac disease needs. We shared a sublime GF Nutella waffle over delicious coffee at this peaceful cafe. We're visitors to the area, and the friendly, warm co-owner and staff also spent a lot of time sharing their insights about local restaurants and attractions in answer to our questions. I tried the Lumberjack Coffee Latte, and it was absolutely amazing! Their food menu is just as impressive, with all-day lunch, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits, and tons of gluten-free options like waffles, tacos, and bread so everyone can enjoy a meal here. I also love that you can shop their coffee bags, cups, and candles—and with every bag of coffee purchased, $4 goes directly to Meals on Wheels. That kind of heart makes this place extra special. Their motto, Eat, Drink, Love Mount Pleasant, really shines through in everything they do. The outdoor patio is the perfect spot to relax or get some work done, and the staff couldn’t be kinder. "Amazing and cute little place! Staff is friendly and very helpful. We wanted latte art but got a to go cup, we asked the staff if they could make it in the mugs with the latte art and they did! No extra charge and with a smile. I always grab a lemon poppy seed muffin every time and it never disappoints. For 2 lattes and 2 food items it was about $20….about the same (or cheaper) as a big coffee brand. Quality of food, cute and cozy atmosphere, plus kind staff is more than worth the cost. Will continue to be coming back! They also have cute coloring sheets in the back for kids AND adults. In a world where boring millennial beige is everywhere this place is a breath of fresh air."
